Shirley's Sedona Tree

This was "Shirley Baum's tree" in Sedona, AZ, while she was there this past winter. Her tree spoke to her: "I feel exuberant to be here. I feel blessed and privileged. Shirley has several spirit guides helping and guiding her. I've seen them! They stay around here and they come in and out of the house. I've seen them walking down the street."
"I am energized by the red rocks here. It is a feeling of love. When Shirley leaves this area, she will have more love to be her guide. The rocks are bringing it out, as is her willingness to be available to this energy. The rocks here bring more love out in the trees and the people. The rocks are conscious and there is communication between the plants and rocks."
"In general, the people here in Sedona are very wonderful. I am sometimes admired or spoken to and I enjoy it. I have a good life here. It is peaceful except for the cars. More goes on here than the humans are aware of. There's a lot that goes on at night in the sky, and there are a lot of spirits walking around here all day and night. It's a busy area. Thank you for your attention and interest!"

The President

I received this message from the giant Sequoia tree in California known as The President.

Love is how I got to be this tall. I am a testament to love. I know when the Earth is going to move. I know the Earth well. She means everything to me. She is our life blood. As much energy flows through me in a day as flows in and out of a small city. There is enough light in you, in your true state, to light up the entire planet.
It is not "I", it is "We". "We" is much closer to describing you or me than "I". There is no "I". "I" brings a sense of separation. "We" brings a connection. We are together. We are insightful. We are inseparable.
Don't be weighed down by life. Be free. Always look up, always look on the bright side. Look to the Sun for inspiration. Look to yourself for love and freedom. Be light of Spirit always.

The President

A Meditation With Trees

The deep forest
This is a meditation that can be done with any tree or grove of trees you are drawn to. You can be in the woods or at the edge of a woods. The important thing is to be where the energy feels right to you.  Doug

Before you sit down, stand firmly upon the ground and observe the beauty of the trees and the whole natural world around you.  Take a moment to notice the shape of the trees, their texture, colors, etc. and be in a state of appreciation for the trees being in your life. With your arms at your side, your elbows slightly bent, and with the palms of your hands facing outward, slowly bring your arms up in order to gather energy from the trees. Bring them over your head with your palms now facing each other. Next, face your palms downward and lower your hands slowly back to where you started, knowing you are filling your body up with the healing energy of the trees. Do this at least 3 times. After you feel filled up with the high vibrational energy of the trees, sit down where you are comfortable (but not too relaxed).  Now take some slow deep breaths, breathing in the essence and spirit of the trees around you.  Do this at least 5 times. Close your eyes and notice how you feel. If there are any areas of tension in your body, relax those areas and let that go. Relax your whole body and set aside any and all thoughts of the day that come into your mind. Turn off your mind completely and just be with the energy of the trees for as long as you wish.  When you are ready, you may ask the trees for a healing. Just be still and know that in some form you will receive healing energy from them. The healing may come in the form of energy you feel, or in the form of a greater sense of peace and serenity. It may also come as a vision and invite you to participate in something in your mind's eye.  You may encounter the spirit of a tree or possibly an angelic being, or even another kind of gentle being who knows what kind of healing you need. You may even find yourself flying above the treetops or floating through a forest. The important thing is to just allow the vision to unfold without trying to figure it out or make it something that it's not.  Great trust is needed here. Just take as long as you need for the healing or the pleasant vision to take place.  When you feel it is done and you are ready to come back, simply begin by wiggling your toes and moving your fingers.  Become aware of your breathing and your surroundings and open your eyes when you are ready.  At this time, stand up and thank the trees. Send them your love and appreciation for all they have done. Thank the Earth, too, sending it love and appreciation for supporting and loving you and allowing you to live upon it.  Send as much love as you can to all of nature. Thank you for doing this meditation.  You should now feel very relaxed and uplifted into a much higher vibration of joy and love.

A Tree Meditation for Healing

White Pine (left) & Red Pine at Raquette Lake
Submitted by Zentura of Casper, Wyoming

Stand facing a tree as close as you can with your hands on it.

Ground into Mother Earth in the manner you’re accustomed to. Be with that energy until it feels like you’re ready to go to the next step.

Then bring that energy up into your solar plexus. Be with that energy until it feels like you’re ready to go to the next step.

While holding the Earth energy in your solar plexus, bring Universal energy down through your crown chakra, continuing down to your solar plexus. Be with that energy until you feel ready to go to the next step.

Then, in your solar plexus, spin the Earth energy and the Universal energy together, clockwise, asking for healing. Be with this until you feel complete.

Next, send the mixed Earth/Universal energy down into Mother Earth and up into the Universe.

Finally, hugging the tree, place your forehead against it asking for insights, guidance, whatever you feel you desire.

Give thanks for the experience.
